Xavier Levor McCoy, 39, son of Christopher Taylor and Marcella McCoy was born on November 24, 1977 in Sumter , SC. He departed this life on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey, Sumter.

Xavier attended Sumter County Public Schools and was employed with Pilgrim's Pride.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Marcella Gail McCoy (Anthony); grandmother, Maggie Skipper; three sisters, Courtney Nicole McCoy (Tony), Teresa Session, and Crystal Taylor Wright; one brother, Montell Robert McCoy; six nephews, Teaquan M. McCoy, Derrick R. Johnson, Cody McCoy, Tony Jacobs, Jr., RaSean Laurant, and Thomas Wright, Jr.; four aunts, Carlean McCoy, Sandra McCoy, Teresa Dozier (Reggie), and Louella Rice; a special cousin reared as a niece, Shanai Scriven; his fiance', Demetrus Stewart; girls he thought of as his own, Taylor Stewart and Talecya St. John; and a host of family and friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 1-7pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. McCoy will be placed in the church on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 12N for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1pm at Westend Community Church, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the home, 1250 Cherryvale Dr., Sumter, SC 29154.
