Willie "Mann" Smythe was born in Manning, SC on January 26, 1975 to Catherine Smythe and the late Willie Filmore. He departed this life on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.

Willie worked tirelessly to take care of his family with Kimco Services for many years.

He was member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. All who knew him was a man that was never ashamed to speak of his love for the Lord.

He leaves to mourn his passing and grow from his memories; a wife of 23 years Tonya L. Dennis-Smythe and a daughter, Kenyatta G. Dennis-Smytheboth of the home and his mother Lorraine Smythe of Summerton, SC; aunts, Roberta Miles of Bronx, NY, Virginia Richardson of Baltimore, MD, Harristine (Leon) Andrews of Charlotte, NC, Mary F. Boyd, Margaret Ann Smythe, Valarie Smythe all of Summerton, SC; uncles, Jackie Smythe of Conway, SC, James (Shelia) Smythe, Theodore (Jackie) Smythe, Tyrone Smythe, Tony Smythe, and Kenneth Smythe all of Summreton, SC; one very special niece, Nevada Burgess of Sumter, SC; sister-in-law, Antionette Dennis of Sumter, SC; one brother-in-law, Antonio (Yolanda) Dennis and mother-in-law, Geraldine Jones of Sumter, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Smythe will be placed in the church on Fri. at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Fri. June 2, 2017 at 11am atSalem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 S. Salem Ave, Sumter with Rev. Willie J. Chandler, Eulogist, and Rev. Brian Stukes, Officiating

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
