Willie Lee (Bocat) Johnson was born June 3, 1964 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Samuel Johnson Jacob and Mattie Bell Johnson. He departed this earthly life on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital. Willie Lee was affiliated with High Hills African Methodist Episcopal Church. Willie Lee held numerous jobs during his life time. He was employed with Bullard Stucco Construction, Inc. where he worked ground maintenance; Sumter County Disability Board of Special Needs and he was most recently employed with CW Resources, Inc. until his health failed.

Brooklyn, New York, Ethel (Richard) Gavin. Wedgefield, SC, Amelia Dawson, Charlotte, North Carolina; one step son, Clifton Roberts, Orlando, FL; mother in laws, Patricia Ross of Lakewood, FL, Theresa Jackson, Sumter, SC; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Willie Lee was preceded in death by his parents his maternal grandparents, William Alston, Jr. and Martha Lee Alston, paternal grandparents Charlie Jim Choice, Sr. Choice and Ethel Choice; seven aunts, Nancy A. Green, Elizabeth A. Wiley, Gloria J. Alston, Janet Davis, Willie Mae Singleton, Estelle Jacobs, and Rosa Mae Bolden; three uncles, Charlie G. Alston, William Alston, III, and David Alston, Sr.; a niece, Kenisha Davis; father in law, Thomas Jackson; step son, Cornelius Roberts
Public Viewing will be held on Sunday August 14, 2016 from 2-6 at Job's Mortuary.
Mr. Johnson will be placed in the church on Mon. August 15, 2016 at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral Services will be held on Mon. at 2PM at High Hills AME Church, Dalzell with Rev. Stanley Rivers, Officiating.
Interment will follow in High Hills AME Church Cemetery.
Family will be receiving friends at 30 Executive Circle, Dalzell
