William Chatmon, Sr., 95, son of the late Robert Chatmon and Margaret Portlock Chatmon, was born on September 4, 1926 in Sumter, SC.  He departed this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his residence in Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Service will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150

Interment will follow in Wayman Chapel AME Church Cemetery

Family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 1019 Yankee Drive, Sumter, SC 29154.
