William "Bubba" James, aged 86, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 7, 2025. Born on August 28, 1938, in Lynchburg, SC, he was the beloved husband of Carol DeChamps James and the cherished son of the late Genie and Marie Martin James. William's family will receive friends at their home located at 305 East Emerald Lake Drive, Sumter, SC 29153. Arrangements are being handled by Job's Mortuary, Inc., located at 312 South Main Street, Sumter. He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends.
