Wilbert Louis Walker, husband of Geneva Henry Walker, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey, Sumter, SC. Born in Sumter County on September 16, 1944, he was a son of the late Charlie and Lillouise Muldrow Walker. He was a 1964 graduate of Eastern High School, Sumter, SC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie G. Williams and two brothers, Terry and Matthew Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 36 years, four daughters: Veronica (Dennis) Norfleet of Memphis, TN, Rhonda Hutchison of Texas, Jackie Gilyard of Columbia, SC, and Wilhelmina (Phillip) Spears of Kansas City, MO; two step-children, Margie Bradley and Debra (Louis) Amos of Sumter, SC; one son-in-law, Will R. Williams of Sumter, SC; two brothers, Alfred Walker of Columbia, SC and Charlie Walker, Jr. of Manning, SC, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 3-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Walker will be placed in the church on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 12noon at Melina Presbyterian Church, 3539 Black River Rd. Gable, SC

Interment will follow in Melina Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 4635 Myrtle Beach Hwy, Sumter, SC 29153.
