Walter Raleigh Lowery, 92, son of the late Curley Scott, Sr., and Margaret Ella Lowery McCray, was born on December 28, 1930 in Sumter County, SC.  He departed this life on Friday, July 7, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Friday, July 14, 2023 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 355 Pudding Swamp Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080 with Rev. Cory Lesane, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC 29506
