Virntell Mary Holmes-Dixon, 71, widow of Melvin Dixon and daughter of the late Clinton Boyd and Marie Dukes, was born on September 20, 1949 in Sumter, SC. She departed this life on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Sumter Health & Rehab Center.

She was educated in the public schools of Sumter, SC and pursued a career in Food Services. She retired from Tuomey Healthcare Systems on  December 20, 2004 with 33 years of service.

Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 form 2-6pm at Jobs Mortuary

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday   Oct. 14, 2020 11am at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 S. Salem Ave, Sumter with Rev.  Harry Clark, officiating

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the home, 105 Benton Drive, Sumter, SC 29150, from 4-8pm daily. All visitors all ask to wear facial masks.
