Viola Davis Nelson, 95, widow of Curtis Nelson and daughter of the late Sam and Salima Davis, was born on July 4, 1925 in Sumter County, SC. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her residence.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Shirley A. McKnight Officiating.

Interment will follow in Goodman Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home, 585 Pudding Swamp Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080.
