Viola Pringle Hargrove died Monday, August 14, 2017. She was born on October 10, 1934 in Paxville, SC to the late Simon and Itelia Pringle. She was married to the late James T. Hargrove.

She was a lifetime member of Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church and a faithful member of the Golden Ministry.

She leaves to cherish her memories seven children, Patricia A. Staley (Franklin D. R.), Reynard Pringle (Ruth), James Hargrove, JR (Beverly), Valerie H. Johnson (Engadine), Deborah Y. Graham (Norman), Brenda Gaines and Kenneth Hargrove (Donna); twenty-one grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, David Geiger and one son-in-law, George Gaines.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mrs. Hargrove will be placed in the church on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 12 Noon for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 1pm at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 805 S. Harvin St., Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the home, 124 Albert Spears Dr., Sumter, SC 29150.
