Vernice Epps Rufus, 91, widow of Charlie Rufus, departed this life on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her residence.
Born on March 15, 1926, in Turbeville, she was a daughter of the late John and Elise Epps.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.
Mrs. Rufus will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Friday for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Asbury United Methodist Church, 335 Pudding Swamp Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080 with the Rev. Shirley McKnight officiating. Interment will follow in Goodman Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at the home, 1720 Pudding Swamp Road, Turbeville, SC 29162.
