Terry Croskey, 48 departed his life on Saturday September 10,2016 at his home in Charlotte NC
Born on November 7, 1967 in Sumter, SC. He was the son of Thelma Croskey Morris of Sumter, SC.
Terry was a graduate of Sumter High School, Class of 1986. He later joined the United States Marine Corp. Where he served from 1987-1995, as a Machine Gun Operator/Supply Clerk. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Naval Unit Citation and Marine Unit Citation.
He attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Charlotte NC.
Survivors include his Mother Thelma Croskey Morris of Sumter SC, Wife, Debra Croskey of California His children; Rhaheme Smith, Crystal Croskey and Baytwaun Croskey. 2 Brothers; Tyrone Croskey of Augusta GA, James (Alethia) Morris of Charlotte NC. A special cousin: Tracy (Edward) Rutherford-Brunson of Killeen, Texas. 4 Aunts; Flossie Hodges of Sumter, SC; Julia Robinson of Atlanta, GA; Ruth Croskey of Queens, New York; Janice Croskey of Woodrow, SC. 1 Uncle; James Robinson of Atlanta, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special friend Angela F. Williams of Charlotte NC.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Cleveland and Sallie Croskey, an Aunt Shirley Rutherford. 3 Uncles; Roosevelt Hodges, James Croskey and Cleveland Croskey Jr.
Public viewing will he held on Friday, September 16,2016 from 2pm to 6pm at Job's Mortuary.
Mr. Croskey will be placed in the church at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 17,2016 at Westend Community Church (Salem Chapel & Heritage Center) 101 S Salem Ave with Bishop Jeffery Johnson Officiating.
Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery.
Family is receiving friends at the home of his Mother Thelma C. Morris 238 Red & White Street Sumter, SC
