Terrance O'neal Ragin was born December 5, 1990 to Vermell and O'neal Canty in Clarendon County, South Carolina. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey in Sumter SC.

He was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County and attended Scott's Branch High School.  He was a member of St. Peter A.M.E. Church in Pinewood, South Carolina. Terrance was a barber by trade.

He leaves to cherish precious memories; his parents, O'neal and Vermell Canty; his siblings, Whitney Martin, Audreanne Ragin and Malcolm Ragin; his grandmother, Camilla Benjamin Canty; niece, JaMiyah McKnight; nephews, Aaden Frierson and Eeyan Henry; aunts and uncles, Linda D. Stewart, Willeen Ragin, Lavern Ragin, Evone Ragin, Marie Nelson, Michael Canty, Leonard Canty, Ivory Canty and John Ragin Jr.; close friends, Theo Keitt and Quinten Charles; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Terrance was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; John and O'netha Ragin; paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Canty, and one uncle, Irvin Canty.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Ragin will be placed in the church on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:30 pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:30pm at Salem Chapel and Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC, with Pastor Linda Speed Officiating.

Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery.
