Tehran Eugene Scott was born on February 6, 1979, in Sumter County, the oldest child of Clarence Eugene and Nadine Durant Scott. Tehran departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Dorn Veterans Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Tehran's life will be cherished and lovingly remembered by his father and mother, Genie and Nadine. Three sons, Rashaun of Columbia, SC; Dontrell of Alexandria,VA and Xzavier of Fayetteville, GA; One daughter, Savannah of Florence, SC; Two sisters, NaGenia McBean of San Antonio, TX and Nakia (Kailille) Jenkins of Columbia, SC; One brother, Albert (Cartenia) Luckey of Columbia, SC and his compassionate and nurturing grandmother, Lillie Bell Durant of Lynchburg, SC; one grandson, Jaiden Kortez.

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Scott will be placed in the church on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 12noon for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Abraham Temoney Officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant AME Church Cemetery.
