Teddie Roosevelt Simmons, 58, husband of Leontyne M. Johnson Simmons and son of the late Roosevelt and Revadell Frierson Simmons, was born on September 25, 1961 in Sumter, SC. He departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2020.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 2-6pm.

Mr. Simmons will be placed in the church on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Aycock Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home of his sister, 5640 Alcott Drive, Wedgefield, SC 29168.
