On January 14, 1918 in Dalzell, SC, a baby girl was born to the late Bland and Minnie Howard and they named her Sarah Howard. Sarah was the third oldest of five siblings. Later in life, "Sweet", as she was affectionately called, met Wesley Robinson, Jr. and they were joined in holy matrimony. They were the proud parents of six children. Sarah became a member of St. Paul AME Church, where she was involved with numerous ministries, such as the Senior Choir, Women's Missionary Society, and Mother of the Church.
Mother Robinson enjoyed a variety of gospel music, and she loved cooking and eating good food. She loved traveling, staying in touch with family and friends, having people over for dinner and attending to her garden.
God called Mother Robinson from labor to reward on Friday, March 16, 2018.
