Samuel "Sam" Fernie Elleby, 81, widower of Alene Stevens Elleby and
son of the late James Elleby and Anna Dewitt Elleby, was born on
September 11, 1943 in Tabor City, NC. He departed this life Friday,
September 20, 2024 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 2-
6pm at Job's Mortuary, Inc.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm, Thursday, September 26, 2024 at
Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC
29150 with Pastor Ricky Simmons, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29150.
Family will receive friends at the home of his sister-in-law, Rita B.
Stevens, 5045 Camden Hwy, Dalzell, SC 29040 daily from 4-8pm.
