Samuel Ealey Jr. departed this earthly life on August 9, 2017 at his residence in Trenton, New Jersey. He was born on December 6, 1959 in Junction City, Kansas to the late Samuel Ealey Sr. and Geneva Cokley Ealey.
He was raised in Sumter County by his loving mother. Samuel attended the public schools in Sumter and was a welder by trade. He started and ended his career with Fluor Daniels Construction Company.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife, Musu; children, Nathan, Kevin, and Melissa all of Trenton, N.J.; his devoted siblings, Rudina (Howard) McFadden, Binnah Marie (Harold) Barno all of Sumter, and Lucille (Darren) Turner of Bossier City, LA; eight grandchildren, one aunt, Lucille Walters, two uncles, Daniel Ealey Sr., and Jeremiah (Sophia) Ealey; a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Ealey Sr.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.
Mr. Ealey will be placed in the church on Saturday, at 12noon for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1pm at Westend Community Church, 101 S. SALEM Ave, with Rev. Leroy Blanding, Officiating and Rev. James L. Kennedy, Eulogist.
Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery.
Family will be receiving friends at the home of his sister, 309 Oklahoma Drive, Sumter.
