Sammie Lee James, 61, husband of Gloria Ingram James and son of the late Prince and Emma China James, was born on November 21, 1958 in Sumter County, SC. He departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his residence.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. James will be placed in the church on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Beulah AME Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home, 608 Atlantic Street, Sumter, SC 29150.
