Ruby Mae Pinckney Peterson, 67, widow of Harry Peterson and daughter of the late Pharish Pinckney and Emma Rebecca Colclough Pinckney, was born on May 17, 1955 in Sumter County, SC.  She departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023 in North Charleston, SC.

Mrs. Peterson will be placed in the church at 12 Noon for viewing  until hour of services.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Mt. Olive AME Church, 2738 Woodrow Road, Sumter, SC 29153 with Elder Calvin Earl Peterson, Sr., Presiding and Rev. Dr. R. L. Brown, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens, Sumter, SC 29153
