Rose Alice Frazier, age 64 the beloved wife of Lennie Sharon Frazier departed her earthly life on December 12, 2016 at Palmetto Heart Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. Born on February 22, 1952 in Sumter, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Thelma Montgomery. She was educated in the Sumter County School District and graduated with the class of 1969.
Mrs. Frazier previously worked in Corporate America from many years before retiring to care for her husband. For many years she was a faithful member of Church of God of Prophecy of Sumter SC and served on many auxiliaries in the ministry. She then became a member of St. John Baptist in Hopkins SC where she enjoyed singing on the Jubilee Choir.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Jessica D. Frazier, and Courtney N. Frazier; one son Charles H. Frazier; two grandsons Jayden C. Stokes and Carsen K. Bryson; one granddaughter, Jaylah C. Stokes all of Columbia SC; a Goddaughter Lacretia Roberts (Stacey); two brothers, Willie (Inez) Montgomery of Davis Station SC and Wilbur Montgomery; three sisters, Catherine Logan, Daisy Gibson, and Martha (George) Washington all of Sumter, SC; four sisters-in- law, Margaret Dunn of New York, Gloria (William) Bertha of Columbia SC, Marilyn Frazier of Waxhaw, NC, and Katrina (Thomas) Border of West Columbia; two brothers-in-law, Daryl Frazier of Waxhaw, NC and Andre (Glenda) Frazier of Pensacola, FL; one step brother, Clifford Nurse (Barbara) of Atlanta GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will all miss her humble spirit and gentle smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Thelma Montgomery, one brother, Albert Montgomery Jr.; a nephew James H. Logan.
Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.
Mrs. Frazier will be placed in the church on Friday at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11am at St. John Baptist Church 230 J.W. Neal Circle, Hopkins, S.C. with Pastor Sammy L. Wade, Officiating.
Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC
Family will be receiving friends at the home 7418 Coachmaker Road, Columbia, SC 29209
