Mr. Robert Clifton Brunson, husband of Marie Ella-Nora Haynesworth Brunson, was born the eldest of nine children to the late Samuel L. Brunson, Sr. and Elease Canty Brunson on July 8, 1948 in Paxville, SC.

Robert was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County, graduating from Manning Training High. He was raised in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He joined and  was baptized at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Robert was employed with Winn Dixie, Ingles, National Health Care, and the owner & proprietor of Brunson Cleaning Services, Inc. He loved football, and was diehard fan of  the Carolina Panthers, Pittsburg Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles and the USC Gamecocks.

God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb, the pain was too much to bare. He gently closed Robert's weary eyes and whispered to him, "Peace be Thine." On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 6:30pm, Robert Clifton Brunson exchanged his earthly home for his heavenly home.

Robert leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Marie Ella-Nora Haynesworth Brunson; three daughters: Sonya LaNora, Samantha LaVerne both of Pinewood, SC and Robyn Latonia of Atlanta, GA, and Samantha of Pinewood, SC; twelve grandchildren: Andre', Armonte', Micah, Kaden, Chase; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Samuel (Mary) Brunson of Summerton, SC and Earl Brunson of Thomasville, NC; sisters: Delores Scott, Ellen Brunson, Mary Brunson, Maggie (Roosevelt) Spann all from Thomasville, NC, and Almettia Ellison of Charlotte, NC; two step sons, Joseph (Mary) Robinson of Thomasville, NC and Julian Atwood of New Jersey; three very close friends: James and Mary Aurtrey of Indianapolis, IN and Hattie Wilson of Pinewood, SC; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Henrietta Tillman; a niece, Cammie Stukes, and sister-in-law, Lisa Brunson

Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Brunson will be placed in the church on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 12noon for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church 10075 Calvary Church Road Pinewood, SC 29125, with Rev. E. L. Sanders, Pastor, Officiating.

Family will receive friends at the home, 991 Ravenwood Drive Sumter, SC 29154.
