Obituary
Richard Dinkins, 78, son of the late Thomas B., II and Frances Gregg Dinkins was born in Sumter, South Carolina on May 23, 1942. He departed this life Monday morning, January 25, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey.
He is survived by one sister, Mary D. Sarvis-Bethea of Columbia, SC; three brothers: Robert (Juanita), Leroy (Louvenia J.) both of Sumter, SC, and Cornell (Mary T.) Dinkins of Summerville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 5-6pm.
Graveside Services will be held at 12pm on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Walker Cemetery in Sumter, SC.
The family requests no visitation at the home, but they do solicit your prayers during this time.
Job's Mortuary, Inc., 312 S. Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
