Mr. Norris Cortez Brown was born on September 8, 1988 in Sumter, South Carolina.  He departed this life on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, SC.  Mr. Brown was educated in the public school system of Sumter, SC.  He attended New Millennium Deliverance Temple in Sumter, SC under the leadership of Apostle Gregory Dennis.

Mr. Norris leaves to cherish his fond memories his mother and stepfather Leta and Gregory Dennis.  His son Norris Brown, Jr., three: sisters Osha Morrison, LaQunta Brown, and Shontrell Sutton, three brothers: Cornelius Morrison, Paul Brown, Jr., and Jaquavius Brown, two aunts: Victoria Jackson, and Renete Washington, two uncles: Jamesy Morrison and Kenneth Morrison, nineteen nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Norris Edward Sutton, his paternal grandmother Thelma Sutton, his paternal grandfather Norris Sutton, Sr., his maternal grandmother Caretha D. Greene and two uncles Carols and Andre Sutton.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150 with Apostle Otis Butler, Presiding.

Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29150

Family will receive friends at 1109 North Main Street, Sumter, SC 29150 daily from 3-8pm.
