Nathaniel "Gree" Epps, widower of Lander McCray Epps, made his transition to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC. He was born on February 18, 1937 in Sumter County, and was the son the late John and Elise Ludd Epps.

Nathaniel was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the United Methodist Men and Asbury Male Choir; he played bass guitar for the Carolina Gospel Singers, The Singing Angels, and Southland Gospel Singers. He was affiliated with Skyway Lodge #461 in Lynchburg, SC. Nathaniel was a avid farmer and he worked at Green's Farm for over 50 years.

Nathaniel precious memories will be cherished by two sons, Nathan (Mae) Epps of Sumter, SC and Johnny Epps of Walterboro, SC; three daughters: Betty Green of the home, Leander (Odell) Fulwood of Lynchburg, SC and Lander (Gregory) Williams of Gable, SC; four siblings: Pearline Gamble and Mary Barno of Lynchburg, SC, Lizzie Harrison of Turbeville, SC, and McSwin (Eliza) Epps of Lynchburg, SC; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, and father; two sisters, Vernice Rufus and Virginia Jordan; four brothers: Johnny Epps, Codell Epps, Jerry, and William McCray; and a grandson, Mekhi Rembert.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 1-6pm at Job's Mortuary, Inc.

Mr. Epps will be placed in the church on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 355 Pudding Swamp Road Lynchburg, SC, with Pastor Shirley Ann McKnight.

Interment will follow in Goodman Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at his home, 1710 Narrow Paved Road Lynchburg, SC.
