Moses Hugh Glover, widower of Ophelia Jones and son of the late Emerald Glover, Sr. and Francis Davis Glover was born in Sumter, SC on March 12, 1940. He departed this life on October 22, 2018. He attended House of Faith Church. Moses loved baseball, listening to gospel music, and laughing and joking with family and friends.

Moses leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Sherry (Richard) Jackson of Sumter, SC; one son, Leon (Ebony) Glover of Lake Elsihore, CA; two grandsons, Lee (Nakiya) Glover of Colorado City, CO and Lathon Glover of Lake Eldihore, CA; three granddaughters: Megan Blanding, Charnele Jackson both of Sumter, SC, and Courtney Glover of Yonkers, NY; three brothers: Paris D. Glover, Sr., Pastor Emerald (Charolette) Glover both of Sumter, SC and Burl Glover of Augusta, GA; three sisters: Bertha Robinson of Rockhill, SC, Rosa Lee (Pete) Robinson of Tallahassee, FL, and Emma Jane Hudson of Bronx, NY; a special niece who was reared as a sister, Marshall (James) White of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Hubert S. Glover; three sisters: Queen E. Robinson, Francis Washington and Lillie Ruth Glover; and two brothers, James Glover and Willie A. Glover.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Glover will be placed in the church on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 S. Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 1896 River Birch Drive Sumter, SC.
