Mrs. Mildred Watson Bowman, 98, widow of Dr. Leroy Bowman and daughter of the late Everett Watson and Rosetta Floyd Watson was born on April 18, 1925 in Horry County, SC.  She departed this life on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in Sumter, SC.

She is survived by her sons, James L. (Kathleen) Bowman, George F. Bowman, and a brother-in-law Dr. Ralph W. (Toye J.) Canty and other family members and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, November 17, 2023 at First Baptist Missionary Church, 219 S. Washington Street, Sumter, SC 29150 with Rev. George P. Windley, Jr., Officiating.

Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29150
