Maxsell Rufus, Jr., 47, son of Maxsell Rufus, Sr., and Joan Burgress Rufus, was born on November 23, 1974 in Sumter County, SC.  He departed this life on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at his residence.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150 with Rev. Johnny Epps, Officiating and Minister Roger Epps, Eulogist.

Interment will follow at Goodman Cemetery, Lynchburg, SC 29080.

Family will receive friends at 1865 Puddin Swamp Road, Turbeville, SC 29162
