Mary Butler Moore, 86, fondly known as “Mamie”, widow of Gordon Mitchell Moore and daughter of the late Wilson Butler and Jeanette Spann butler, was born on March 24, 1940 in Sumter, SC. She departed this life on Saturday, September 05, 2026 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 2-6pm at Job’s Mortuary, Inc.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150 with Rev. Dr. Gertrude Spann Thompson, Presiding and Eulogist.

Family will be receiving friends at the home of Dr. Earnestine B, Kirkland, 1140 Spann Street, Sumter, SC 29150.
