The homes she shared with her family were always open to those were in need or for those who needed a fresh start in life and a place for young people to hang out. Sis Thomas along with Deacon Thomas retired to Sumter, South Carolina in 1984. They continued their ministry by serving at Mt. Calvary Holiness Church, St. John Baptist and Jehovah Missionary Baptist.
