Mrs. Mary Lou Bradley was born October 18, 1947 in Alcolu, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Alston and Lannie Ceasar-Alston.
She received she education from Lincoln High School. Mrs. Mary was employed at Booming & Piece in Brooklyn, New York in the 1980's. After moving back down south in the 90's, she was employed at Charm House and later on retired from Wal-Mart in 2012. She was known to the have the sharpness and pressed down uniform in the maintenance department.
On June 8, 2019, her mission here on earth was finished and she was called home to be with the Lord; and to join her husband once again.
Mrs. Mary leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Debra Bradley of Brookyln, NY and Willie (Vonisha) Bradley, Jr. of Sumter, SC; four grandchildren: Jeniya Bradley, Jelayiah Bradley both of Sumter, SC, Nigel Bradley of Brooklyn, NY, and Daylen Howard of Sumter, SC; one brother, James (Erma) Alston of Sumter, SC; one sister, Rutha Mae Burgess of Hopkins, SC; two brothers-n-law, Joe (Pauline) Bradley and James Clayton (Johnnie Mae) Bradley both of Sumter, SC; two sisters-n-law, Richard Dean Bradley of Sumter, SC and Ethel Bradley of New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends that will truly miss Mrs. Mary.
Mrs. Mary was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jemyra Debra Ann Bradley; two brothers, Clarence Alston and Neville Alston; and also, by her husband Willie Bradley, Sr.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.
Mrs. Bradley will be placed in the church on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150, with Pastor James Fitzgerald Officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the home 1124 Hurley Street Sumter, SC 29150.
Job's Mortuary, Inc., 312 S. Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
