Mary Alice Coe Wilson was born on July 24, 1941 to the late Berkeley and Luevilla Dunham Coe, Sr. Our Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom saw fit to reach out and call Mary to His Heavenly home on Saturday, April 13, 2019.

"Mae Alice," as she was affectionately called by family and friends, attended the public schools of Darlington County and at an early age joined Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church, one of the loves of her life, where she served on the Pastor's Aide and Culinary Ministries.

"Mae Alice" married Raymond DuBose and this union was blessed with a daughter, Barbara Jean, another love of her life. On February 14, 1990, she later married Tommy Lee Wilson, another love of her life.

"Mae Alice" was employed by Electric Motors of Florence, SC and Nytronics of Darlington, SC, from where she retired in 2003. She was also an Avon Representative for over 50 years.

Mary Alice leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Tommy Wilson of the home; six children: Barbara Jean Dubose-Willoughby of Effingham, SC, Julene Wilson, Farlicca Wilson both of Philadelphia, PA, Tommy Rogers, Rodney (Tara) Abson both of Hartsville, SC, and Dirrect Wilson of Philadelphia, PA; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; four sisters: Lillie Mae Robinson, Patricia Green, Patricia Damon all of Darlington, SC, and Willistine (Douglas) Gregg of Hartsville, SC; three brothers: Berkeley Coe, Jr., Barrette (Diane) Hall both of Darlington, SC, and Robert (Jeanette) Coe of New Haven, CT; one sister-in-law, Hazel Wilson of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers-in-law: Heyward (Angelyn) Wilson, Levern (Alice) Wilson both of Philadelphia, PA, and Harry (Gertrude) Wilson of Fredricksburg, VA; two aunts, Melissa Cannon and Annie Ruth Coe both of Darlington, SC; two uncles, Sylvester Hooks of Darlington, SC and Alford Coe of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, "Mae Alice" was preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow Coe and Alphonso Coe; and a sister, Daisy Mae Mack.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 6-8pm at Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington, SC.

Mrs. Wilson will be placed in the church on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church 552 East Billy Farrow Highway Darlington, SC 29532, with Rev. Dr. E. B. Burroughs, Pastor, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Cherry Grove Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home, 543 Seminole Drive Hartsville, SC 29550.
