Martin Anthony Rhodes, son of the late Hezekiah Rhodes Sr and the late Elizabeth Janie Rhodes, was born in Sumter County on October 15th, 1964. He departed this life on October 20th, 2021, at home after living a fruitful life.

At an early age, he accepted Christ into his life at Walker Avenue Church of God in Sumter, SC. Later, he became a faithful member of ALIVE Praise & Worship Center & Ministries in Sumter, SC. He was a praying man that loved the God. He loved listening to music and always had a song in his heart. He was a simple, but pleasant man with a kind soul that cared for others and believed in peace, love, and happiness.

He leaves to celebrate her life three sisters: Vermelle Nwokeji, Delores (Robert Lee) Baxter, Beverly Rhodes, one brother: Richard Rhodes, aunts, uncles, an abundant number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He will be met with loving arms by grandparents, mother, father, brothers: Frank Rhodes and Hezekiah Rhodes Jr., sister Laura McConnico, niece Quindara Rhodes, and nephew Reginald Baxter.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at ALIVE Praise and Worship Center & Ministries, 342 West Liberty Street, Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Aycock Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 26 Blanding Street, Sumter, SC 29150.
