Margie Lou Garrett, daughter of the Henry and Beatrice Gardner Smoot, was born on February 11, 1941 in Sumter, SC.  She departed this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at her residence.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150

Interment will follow in Cane Savannah Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at her home, 543 South Sumter, Sumter, SC 29150.
