Lucious Davis, 70, husband of Hattie B. McLeod Davis, was born on November 4, 1950 in Sumter County, the oldest son of Eartha Mae Temoney Davis Holmes and the late Lucious Davis. He departed this life on Saturday, February 27, 2021 surrounded by his family.

He was a dedicated member of Beulah AME Church, and he was the owner of Davis Carpentry.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years; his mother; two daughters, Bridget (Philip) Blackwell of Columbia, SC and Squadrina (Aaron) Ross of Loxahatchee Florida; his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Blackwell; his five siblings; his father-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary Annex.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Beulah A.M.E Church, 3175 Florence Highway, Sumter, SC with Reverend Archie Temoney, officiating and Reverend Abraham Temoney, Jr., Eulogist.

Family will receive friends at the home, 2585 Converse Street, Sumter, SC 29153. All visitors are required to wear a facial mask.

Job's Mortuary, Inc., 312 S. Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
