Lessie Mae Harris, 86, widow of Jlynn Harris and daughter of the late Milow and Marie Johnson, was born on April 25, 1932 in Sumter, SC. She departed this life on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC.

She attended St. Michael School and was a life-long member of St. Luke AME Church.

Lessie Mae leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters: Tonie H. (John) Jennings, Darriell Harris (Mike), and Rose Marie Harris Cato; two sisters, Marie Davis and Lilreen Wright; an aunt, Rouvenia Richardson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Johnson; a daughter, Marilynn Gregg; three brothers: Milo, Sammie, and James Johnson; and two sisters, Annabell Anderson and Mary Johnson.
