Ms. Leola Ford Sumpter, 78, daughter of the late Leo and Martha James Ford, was born on October 12, 1941 in Sumter, SC. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA.

Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Ms. Sumpter will be placed in the church on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Mechanicsville United Methodist Church 184 Lake Ashwood Road Sumter, SC 29153.

Interment will follow in St. Paul AME Church Cemetery (Plowden Mill).
