Lee Ernest Hammond, 75, son of the late London Hammond, Sr. and Geneva Walters Hammond Scarborough, was born on August 29, 1946 in Sumter, SC. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, NY.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 12noon on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Elder Wayne P. Brunson, Sr. Officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at 350 Palmetto Street, Sumter, SC 29150.
