Obituary
Justin Boyd affectionately known as "J-Boy" to family and close friends was the son of Gene L. Boyd and Deloris Boyd. He was born on January 29, 1992 in Florence County. He departed this life on September 25, 2016
Justin attended the Lee County Public School. He was employed with at McDonalds in Charlotte, NC and Sumter, SC. Later, he worked at Amazon in Columbia, SC and then Pilgrim's Pride in Sumter, SC.
Justin leaves to cherish his precious memories; his parents, Gene L. and Deloris Boyd of Lynchburg, SC; one sister, Jessica S. Boyd of the home; three brothers, Gene Lewis Boyd, Jr. of Olanta, SC, Demetrius I. Boyd of Mayesville, SC and Byron T. Boyd of Columbus, Ohio; two nieces, Jamya Boyd of Olanta, SC and Gianna K. Boyd of Sumter, SC; grandmother, Elizabeth Harkless; eleven uncles, Johnny (Brenda) Davis of Wysacky, SC, Buddy Davis, Ronald Davis, Marion Davis, Robert (Virginia) Williams, Michael Williams, Kenneth (Annette) Williams, Russell (Christine) Williams, Craig Williams all of Sumter, Roosevelt Harkless, Jr. and Anthony (Angela) Harkless of Florence, SC; seven aunts, Elaine Davis of Manning, Vanessa and Teresa Harkless of Florence, SC, Diane Williams of Sumter, SC, Gwendolyn Williams of Charlotte, NC, Marcia Williams of Mayesville, SC and Shyesha (Marvin) Brock of Manning, SC; special cousins, Amerie Williams of Sumter, SC Keyanna, Makayla, Bradley Harkless of Kissimmee, FL; and a host of family, church family, dear friends, and special close friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his children, grandparents Edward and Ethel Mae Williams, grandfather Roosevelt Harkless, Sr.
Public Viewing will be held on Saturday Oct. 1, 2016 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary
Mr. Boyd will be placed in the church on Sunday Oct.2 at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday Oct. 2 at 2pm at Church of Christ, Lamar, SC with Minister Sylvester McCray.
Interment will follow in Church of Christ Church Cemetery, Cypress, SC
Family will be receiving friends at the home 145 Sunflower Circle, Lynchburg, SC
