June Taylor Albritton

June Taylor Albritton, born on October 4, 1935, in New York, NY, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Carrollton, VA, at the age of 90.

June graduated from Lincoln High School in Sumter, SC, and dedicated her career to providing compassionate care as a home health aide with the State Health Department for over 20 years, during which time she received special honors for her distinguished service, touching the lives of many with her kindness and dedication. She was a faithful member of Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Virginia Smith Miller and Curley Miller Sr., and her siblings, Curley Miller Jr., Donald Miller, Regina Holland, and Roland Miller. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Harvey Lee Albritton, her two sons, James Parks and wife Sherita of Carrollton, Stanley Parks of New York; five grandchildren, Trevin Parks, Jacolby Parks, Jayln Parks, Domnecia Parks, and Junior Parks; a host of great grandchildren; one beloved sister, Marcina McDuffie of Sumter, SC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her best friend, Helen Duncan of Sumter, SC, beloved cat, Tasha, and bird, Peanut.

A memorial service will be held in Sumter, SC, at a later date. The family will provide details once arrangements are completed in SC.

June will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her gentle spirit will remain in their hearts forever.
