Mr. Joshua T. Goodman was born October 30 ^th , 2000 in Sumter County, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 15 ^th, 2018. Joshua was the son of Mr. Robert and Mrs. Theresa Goodman.

He was a junior at Crestwood High School, where he was a triple-sport athlete at Crestwood High School playing football, baseball, and track. He played defensive end/linebacker on the varsity football team. He also was very active member of  St. Mark UMC and worked for Chuck-e-Cheese of Sumter, SC.

Joshua is survived  by his parents, Robert K. Goodman Sr. and Theresa P. Goodman of Sumter, SC; his brothers, Robert K. Goodman, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Marcus L. Goodman of the home; his special friend, Janiyah Steplight of Dalzell, SC; a maternal grandmother, Mary Peterson; a paternal grandfather Will Goodman; an adopted Grandmother, Mrs. Betty Woods, a God-mother, Mrs. Lori P. Hodge; two god-brothers, Dominque and Diondre Hodge of Sumter, SC; three aunts: Shirley (Eddie) Mack, Sandra (Ernest) Isaac, Linda Goodman all of Sumter, SC; eight uncles: Douglas (Pauline) Peterson, Michael (Sharon) Peterson of Elgin, SC, Kelvin (Evonne) Peterson, Nathan Burroughs, Will Henry Goodman, Jr., Theodre Goodman, Leroy (Joyce) Goodman, and James Goodman all of Sumter, SC and a host of other aunts, uncles, other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Douglas Peterson Jr.; paternal grandmother, Roseanna Goodman; his two Great-Grandmothers, Corine Peterson and Viola Carter and adopted Grandfather William Woods.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 3-7pm at Job's Mortuary, Inc.

Mr. Goodman will be placed in the school auditorium on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral service will be at 2pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Crestwood High School Auditorium, 2000 Oswego Highway Sumter, SC 29153, with Pastor Geneva Stafford Officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Mark UMC Cemetery.
