Joseph Holmes, 78, son of the late Holland Holmes and Mary Hunter Holmes, was born on April 26, 1946, in Sumter. He departed this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

Family will receive friends at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Ja'Rea Holmes Green and Sherrick Green, 2535 Foxcroft Circle, Sumter, daily from 3 to 8 p.m.
