John Wesley Watkins, Jr., 46, son of John Wesley Watkins, Sr., and the late Gwendolyn Way Watkins, was born on November 29, 1976 in Horry County, SC.  He departed this life on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary

Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Friday, March 10, 2023 at Unionville AME Church, 1330 Swimming Pen Road, Mayesville, Sc 29104 with Rev. Larry D. Clark, Officiating and Rev. Jerome McCray Eulogist.

Interment will follow at Unionville AME Church Cemetery, Mayesville, SC 29104

In lieu of flowers please send contributions to the Sumter County Disability and Special Need Board in memory of John Wesley Watkin, Jr.

Family will receive friends at the home, 554 Kilgo Street, Sumter, SC 29150 Daily from 3-8pm MASK IS REQUIRED in accordance with the Covid-19 guidelines.
