John Henry Frierson, 80, widower of Gladys Jamison Frierson and son of the late Boston Frierson and Carrie McFadden Frierson, was born on September 3, 1941 in Lee County, SC.  He departed this life on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Oak Grove AME Church 271 Burnt Branch Road, Turbeville, SC 29162

Interment will follow in Old McFadden Cemetery 1601 St. James Road, New Zion, SC 29111.

Family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 244 Clement Road, Sumter, SC 29150
