Joan McKnight Williams, 68, widow of Reverend James Williams and daughter of the late Melvin Keith and Esther Cabbagestalk McKnight McNeil, was born on March 11, 1952 in Sumter, SC. She departed this life on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mrs. Williams will be placed in the church on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 10am for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Pastor Ricky Simmons Officiating.

Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home, 2436 Peach Orchard Road, Sumter, SC 29154.
