Jean Blackwell, 93, daughter of the late Hamilton D. and Minnie Jones Blackwell, was born on March 6, 1928 in Wedgefield, SC. She departed this life on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at NHC HealthCare in Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Ms. Blackwell will be placed in church on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 2pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 South Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150, with Rev. Laddie Howard, Eulogist and Rev. Wendell Moore Officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the home of her nephew, 1924 Georgianna Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
