James Lee Williams, 71, was born on April 25, 1948 in Sumter, SC. He departed this life on August 25, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

He worked at Crescent Tools/APEX Too Group for 26 years and Honda Goodwin as a shuttle driver for 7 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mom, Susie Mae Williams; his wife of 46 years, Sarah Lou Williams; four daughters: Melissa Williams Parker of Florence, SC, Melissa Wilson, Michelle Wilson, and Debra Williams all of Sumter, SC; one son, James Eric (Erica) Williams of Fayetteville, NC; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Williams.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Williams will be placed in the church on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 1pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150, with Elder Garrick Officiating.

Family will receive friends at the home 328 Wyoming Drive Sumter, SC 29153.
