Mr. James McFadden, son of Daisy K. McFadden and the late Arron McFadden, was born on August 14, 1952 in Clarendon County.

James received his formal education at Walker Gamble High School. In his early youth, he joined Howard Chapel AME Church. James was joined in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Sylvia B. McFadden.

On Friday, May 17, 2019, James entered into eternal rest.

James leaves to cherish his loving memory four daughters: Jennifer (Jackie) Miller of Sumter, SC, Bridget (Joseph) Richardson of Lancaster, CA, Carlotta Rose of Sumter, SC, and Keshonda (Allen) Cooper of New Zion, SC; a loving and devoted companion, Teresa McGee; two brothers, Arron McFadden and Levern (Landa) McFadden of Sumter, SC; five sisters: Daisy Lemmon, Deloris Blakly both of Sumter, SC, Ernestine Perkins of Jefferson, GA, Rosetta Branch, and Evelyn (Andre) Freeman both of Baltimore, MD; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. McFadden will be placed in the church on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1:30pm for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center 101 South Salem Avenue Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 251 Independence Avenue Sumter, SC 29153.
