James "Babe" McCray, Sr., 89, husband of Algia McFadden McCray and son of the late Dolly Lewis Harris, was born on August 9, 1932 in Sumter County, SC. He departed this life on Thursday, October 07, 2021 at Sumter Health & Rehab Center in Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Graveside Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Hillside Memorial Park, 2561 Cains Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29154, with Rev. Dr. Ella F. Busby, Officiating.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the family request no visitation at the residence.
