James Ernest Jefferson, 74, husband of Hattie Kennedy Jefferson and son of the late Abraham Jefferson and Louise Jefferson Brunson, was born on July 8, 1946 in Sumter, SC. He departed this life on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 2-6pm at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Berea Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 675 South Lafayette Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home, 107 Gulf Street, Sumter, SC 29150. All visitors are required to wear a facial mask.
